Many fans support the NFL.  They dress up every game time to support the team that they love.  But the USA isn’t the only place that loves the NFL.  I had no idea that London was a place that could get 500,000 people to gather prior to the Vikings vs Steelers game in London.  Must have been a great block party with fans from all over wearing jersey’s that represent the teams they love.  And no reports of trouble.  I can understand a little jawing but it turns into personal jabs and then the knife or gun comes out and it turns into to a lead story.

For those who play never seem to get tattoos of the team they play for.  But fans do.  I understand season ticket holders having a great attachment to the team because they support the team by making a yearly investment.  But I bet most of them don’t have any tattoos.  And they surely wouldn’t be armed and cussing at the other fans who they see.

There is much excitement at the stadiums when two teams lock up and get it on.  But there are the few who take the pleasure of watching and talking about a team and make it turn into gang violence.  A little drink and a lot of frustration and then you have trouble.

London would be a great place to start a franchise.  They would have a lot of people to fill a stadium.  It would be a money maker.  But the one huge disadvantage is the travel time for the team and the visitors would make it a nightmare.  But the build up of the fans for each game in London would be huge.

I wouldn’t be surprised if London got a team before Los Angeles.  Which they’ve talked about coming soon and it’s 2013.  We still are waiting.
